This costume is inspired by the traditional outfit of Captain Petko Voyvoda – a legendary Bulgarian freedom leader. It includes woolen trousers (poturi), leg wraps (called tozlutsi or navushta), a shirt, a wide sash (belt), and a traditional woolen overgarment.
